Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
